CSFBL owners like the numbers. In a future world, I’d like to have a BCS style system where various different owners can submit their rankings algorithms and the users can choose which they like. “The idea of the rankings is to combine the data from the new User Records, mathematically rewarding owners for playing in tougher leagues and ranking leagues based on how well the owners in them have done across CSFBL. For example, winning 80 games in a great league might be considered similar to winning 87 games a season in a typical league. We primarily used data from the last 12 months, because we wanted this to be a ranking reflecting how competitive owners and leagues are now, rather than how competitive they used to be.”
