It is neat and clean to separate things by dates at the beginning and end of a year or month or week. It is easy on the mind to remember milestone numbers. But the difference between Dec 31 and Jan 1 is just one day, just like Jun 23 and Jun 24 is just one day apart. A player’s 500th homer isn’t more important than their 501st. And, that’s why I don’t care that the champions information I’m presenting today is the most titles between Aug 31, 2022 through Oct 13, 2023. And I’m not arbitrarily cutting this list at the top 55 managers, I’m stopping it at 5 titles in these 400ish days.
