New Free Agency Page *Update*

Thank you for your feedback on the recent Free Agency Page update. We’re always striving to improve the experience—not just for our long-time community, but also to make this game more welcoming for new users. Striking that balance can be tricky and your input helps.

In response to your requests, we’ve reorganized the compact view to a simpler, more familiar list-based format. If something in the compact view feels unclear, you can easily flip to the full view to see all the details laid out.

We understand that change can be disorienting, especially after years with the previous UI. But sticking with an outdated interface wasn’t the solution, especially when there was so much room for improvement. We know many of you are used to opening multiple tabs and digging through other pages for important pieces of information when signing a free agent—but not everyone enjoys that adventure. With the new page, much more is accessible in one place, once you know where to find it.

A list of just some of the upgrades for you to discover…

  • Running Cap Space: A running tab of your cap space is available everywhere you go, so you can make informed decisions in real time.
  • Bids at a Glance: View all your current bids directly on the Free Agency page—no more flipping through tabs to keep track of your offers.
  • Player History Ratings at Your Fingertips: Instantly view player ratings history directly on the Free Agency page, with no need for extra page loads.
  • League Settings, Front and Center: See your league’s Free Agency settings directly on the page—again, no need to dig around elsewhere for this info.
  • All Players in One Table: You no longer need to sort ten different tables individually to see the best players for each rating.
  • Favorites Filter: Favorite players for easy tracking and comparison—focus only on those you’re interested in.
  • Sort by Batting, Pitching, and Fielding Overalls: Streamline your search by sorting players by these key rating categories that you could never sort before.
  • Clear Rating Buckets: Ratings grouped into easy-to-understand categories: pitching, batting, and fielding for streamlined comparison.
  • Standardized Overalls: Overalls now match the format used for actual/potential ratings, making everything more consistent across the board.
  • Sign-and-Drop Simplified: Players’ ratings for Sign-and-Drop are visible right where you make your bid, saving you from having to investigate further.
  • Filter by Potentials and Cap Space: Sort through players based on potentials, PSFA, UFA, Low Minors eligibility, and even players you can afford.
  • Spot New Free Agents: Filter by signing order to easily spot the latest additions to the list.
  • Informative Offer Button: Offer, Edit, Sign all mean different things, and you can easily tell what action you can take for each player in FA.
  • See Who’s Bidding (Non-Blind Leagues): Easily view current bids on players without needing to open each player card individually.

We’re working hard to keep refining the experience, and the biggest changes—page load improvement and the compact list view — are now in place, again thank you for your feedback. We’re confident this page will improve the Free Agency experience for all, but it will still take some time to learn how you want to use it.
