Tournament of Champions 2025: Announcing Our Revamped Format

The Wait Is Over: Tournament of Champions Returns!

After a more than year-long hiatus , we’re thrilled to announce the return of our Tournament of Champions with a completely revamped format for 2025! This time, we’re doing things differently – bigger, faster, and as the inauguration of our totally new weekly contest game format.

What’s New for TOC 2025?

  • Double the participants: 64 players (expanded from the previous 32)
  • Streamlined timeline: Three weeks (down from 2+ months)
  • New format: The official debut of our Salary Cap Survivor format announced last week.
  • Prizes: $250 cash prize for the winner plus a beautiful championship ring, only two of which currently exist!

How It Works
The 2025 TOC will run in three stages:

  1. Week 1: All eligible participants compete in the first week of Salary Cap Survivor.
  2. Week 2 : Again, all eligible participants compete in the second week of Salary Cap Survivor, with a shake up from the week 1 in-game parameters.
  3. Championship Round: Finalists from both heats advance to the final week, and the winner of that contest is the Champ.

For Qualified Participants

If you’ve received an invitation, congratulations! You’ve earned your spot through your performance over the past two years.

Registration Process:

  • Initial invitations: Arriving shortly – keep an eye on your email!
  • Primary registration deadline: Sunday, May 11 at 11:00 PM EST
  • Unclaimed spots: Any spots not claimed by the primary deadline are forfeit, and will be offered to the next alternates on the qualification list.
  • Second chance invitations: Will be sent Sunday night (May 11) to fill any open spots
  • Final registration deadline: Monday, May 12 at 11:00 PM EST

Important: Read the contest overview carefully – this format is very different from traditional leagues. You can register right away and work on selected your team throughout the week, but once you finalize your entry, those are your players for the week – so do not finalize until you are 100% ready.

For Everyone Else

Weekly contests will be open to everyone starting in late May. The Tournament of Champions is just the beginning – all players will have regular opportunities to compete in these contests soon!
